Pancakes

I grew up with this recipe.  It comes from an old Betty Crocker cookbook.  I was perusing a used bookstore and saw the same cookbook we used when I was a kid.

Ingredients
  1. 1 egg
  2. 1 cup all purpose flour
  3. 3/4 cups milk
  4. 2 Tbsp oil
  5. 1 Tbsp sugar
  6. 3 tsp baking powder
  7. 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat griddle to 350 degrees or a frying pan to Medium heat.
  2. Combine all dry ingredients in medium mixing bowl.
  3. In separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until mixed. A few lumps are okay.
  5. Grease the cooking pan.
  6. Put ¼ cup of mixture on the pan. Let cook until you see bubbles form on the top and flip.
  7. Cook an addition one to two minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve with your favorite toppings. Mix in fruit if you want.
