Butter Crust Bread

Ingredients:

6 Cups All-Purpose Flour
3 Cups Hot Water
1 Tbsp Salt
¼ C Oil or Melted Butter
¼ C Honey or Sugar
2 Tbsp Dry Yeast

Method:

Mix Together in a Large Bowl:
3 C Hot Water
1 Tbsp Salt
¼ C Oil or Melted Butter
¼ C Honey or Sugar

Add Slowly and Stir in with Wire Whisk:
3 C Flour
2 Tbsp Dry Yeast

Let sit for 15 Minutes. Punch Down and Add 3 C Flour. Stir well.  Let sit for 10 minutes. Knead with one to two cups of additional flour on a floured counter or table until smooth and slightly shiny. Form into three loaves, place in prepared pans and let rise for 15 minutes or until almost double in size. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Brush tops with butter.  Take out of pans to cool.

I find the bread comes out MUCH better with oil than with melted butter on the first part.  Ashley likes to use this to make Cinnamon Rolls.  They are freaking amazing.  She has also used it to make garlic Parmesan bread sticks for dinner.  (I leave the baking up to her.)
