The Sawyer’s Pizza Dough

We got several pizza pans as wedding presents. My buddy Kendall and his wife gave us a pizza dough recipe. Of the ones we’ve tried, we really liked this one the most.

Ingredients:

1 Tbsp Yeast
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
½ C Oil
1 C Warm Water (~ 115 degrees)
1 C Flour

Method:

Mix ingredients
When mixed well, add 2 ½ to 3 ½ C Flour slowly
Knead for about 10 minutes
Let rise 20 to 40 minutes
Press into bottom of pizza tin to desired thickness
Add toppings (BACON!!!!!!)
Bake at 435 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes or until cheese is golden brown and sauce is bubbly.

You may want to adjust the temperature to a little lower if you are using a pizza stone. If you don’t you may end up like us and have raw dough in the middle. (500 degrees is way too high….)
