I loved hearing about your cooking during work at the Telefund, so I’m excited for this. 🙂

I have a topic for you. I’m looking for good crockpot recipes to cook on Sundays and use as leftovers through the week. I’ve tried a few ones at random, but I always end up having a lot of grease that appears. So, 1) do you have any good crockpot recipes? and 2) Any ideas on how I can solve my grease issue?

  I’ll be posting some crockpot recipes in the future. I’ve got a great pot roast that I got from my mom when I was growing up. As for the grease, you’ll always see it skimming the tops of the food you make. In most cases it’s harmless and very tasty (It shows in the chili every time I make it). But if you want a way to reduce the fat/grease content in your food, take an ice-cube and skim it through the fat. The ice will cause the fat to solidify on the ice and you can remove the fat and not much more.
